Formerly known as Derek’s Machining, our transition to DM Squared signifies a continued dedication to delivering superior products and services.

Derek Parker started Derek’s Machining in 1998 after completing his apprenticeship at Atlas Aircraft Corporation (now known as Denel) qualifying and specialising in machining.

Derek’s Machining was an independently run CNC engineering business with a reputation for superior work standards and high quality manufactured parts.


In addition to running Derek’s Machining, in 2012 , Derek partnered with his father Gary Parker in the design and manufacturing of submersible pumps and they became very well known in the industry locally and abroad.


In 2023 following the sale of the pump company , Derek was inspired to change the name of Derek’s Machining to DM Squared. Still committed to providing its loyal customers with CNC engineering excellence, DM Squared maintains its proficiency in CNC turning and milling ,conventional machining and light fabrication.

DM Squared still uses high quality, precision CNC equipment that is regularly updated and serviced to maintain our high quality product and services.
